The Seattle Times Redesign

I participated in a year-long process to complete this redesign. In the first stage I took part in strategy meetings with Producers, Editors, Creative Director, and Art Director. The second stage involved working on a team with talented designers and engineers. My responsibilities were to build the HTML structure and CSS layout for section and story templates, and to contribute to the design. The objectives of the redesign were to simplify navigtion, accomodate wider screen sizes, transition to CSS layout, greater clarity between tools and content, and separate ads from content.
